STALKER (MATTHEW TURSE, JR.)

Team Turse Racing was formed in 2018.  Matt & Julia Turse are the owners of the race team, while Matt Turse Jr (aka STALKER) serves as the race car driver.  Matt Jr has two older sisters, Jessica and Isabella.  Matt Jr. has always had a passion for racing, as he began  driving an electric toy truck around at the age of 2.  Matt Jr. began racing outdoor Go-Karts at the age of 5 and then transitioned into competitive indoor Karting at the age of 7.  Matt Jr. quickly turned heads and got the attention of high level race drivers, owners and fans after just 3 months of competitive racing when he set the track record at K1 Speed in Concord, NC. 

In July of 2018, Matt Jr. began racing .25 Midgets at the NCQMA track in Salisbury, NC.  Once again, showing that he was a “Wheel Man”, Matt took to this style of racing quickly and finished 2nd in his first race in the “Red Rookie” division.  After 4 races, Matt racked up three 2nd place finishes and one 1st place finish.  As a result of his quick learning and amazing driving style, Matt Jr. has now been moved up to “Blue Rookie" and will next move into the "Jr Honda" series for 2019.

Stalker will run a full schedule in 2019 and open the season in Daytona in early February.  Most of our races will be run at our home track, in Salisbury, NC. Other opportunities will be to race at Indy, Ohio, Atlanta, Alabama and several other tracks!  Our mission at TTR is to take a home grown team and methodically and strategically move up through the ranks of racing.
